Presidents Message

Hi fellow Shuffleboarders. Here we are, in 2011-2012 Shuffling season. I believe that each of you are looking forward to another year of fun, friendship and maybe a few more wins in league or tournaments. I hope all of you are well as you rejoin your winter family of friends. Please continue to use this site as up to date source of new of activities of District 3. Your Board of Directors have been busy since the Spring meeting. We have met and developed an Action Plan to help us prioritize our efforts this coming season. This plan includes increasing our communications channels by the effcient and timely use of electronic mail. We additional plan to redistribute the district tournament charting amongst more individuals, therfore allowing our secretary to concentrate on the other responsibilites of the postion. We want to formalize and reduce to writing many of the District officers job descriptions, operation guidelines and previous verbal undestanding and guidlines We look forward to working with our friends at the state level to represent the views of District 3 shufflers. We hope to keep you informed of our progress via this site and at the Fall and Spring dinner meetings. Please do not hesitate to contact any of your officers for any questions that you may have. Serving you John Houser, President yumashuffleboarddistrict3@gmail.com
